Interstellar traveller? Intergalactic being? The origin of this superhero remains mysterious best, but all we need to know for now is that he's one of the good guys.
Suffering the effects of an apparent amnesia, all The Magnus Star has been able to recall so far about his being here is his wife, Zephyr, and what he describes as a "divine light". The Magnus Star has been able to describe his place of origin, a seemingly alternate Earth, with a Paragon City where magic and the light and dark arts rule the world.
The Magnus Star draws his power from what he calls, "Doreium" energy. This magical/energy source affects people from Magnus' world differently; some gain inherent psionic abilities, others mutate and develop biological enhancements to their own bodies. The Magnus Star, from Doreium, has amassed incredible super strength and near complete invulnerability. The Magnus Star is a trained warrior and is constantly trying to keep up to date with new and never before seen fighting styles encountered in Paragon City.
For the last few years, The Magnus Star has called Paragon City, "home", and has been serving for the likeness of good in this strange, new world.
However, The Magnus Star misses his homeworld dearly, and greatly desires to be united with his wife once more. Perhaps someone at Portal Corp. may be able to help him someday, but for the time being, The Magnus Star remains dedicated to bringing those who would oppose the forces of good, to justice. |
