Number four of my commentary reviews and I guess I write this in response to the Hard Steel being posted. My thoughts, first off I thought it was an average card, I guess I was expecting a lot more the writers had hyped it then didn't produce the hype, which is disappointing. I was extremely disappointed with my match, I realize Hugo wrote my match (the Peacemaker) which I haven't a problem with cause Hugo is ok. Problem I had was he put himself way too much over in the result, I mean I expect he understands his character a lot, well obviously he does, but I would rather have lost (which I deserved) rather than have to read 'the immortality' of Peacemaker for 20 plus lines, I am not going to mince my words that's what it basically was. I didn't deserve to win, but reading over and over again about how sadistic Peacemaker is etc. was crap only to be saved by the Extreme Players apparently? First point, this feud will not work, by bringing in the Players into this feud is shit. One they have worked a great rp thing with the Asylum which needs a climax, secondly have the Haven got anyone to compete with them individually? X I don't think so? I would say Chad and Scally, but Scally isn't into this sort of thing (I know him) and Chad I think has given the European title so much credibility, to end up in a feud with the Players would be crap. That's why I don't like it. So where for the Big Pimp Daddy? I guess a Maker vs. Pimp In match is on the cards again, but with the returning Naldo it might not be, lets be frank Invader has vanished and once again we have an unhappy face/heel tandem. So me and Naldo. Well for those of you who missed Naldo vs. Pimp In at Dependence Day 1 in 2000 it was grand, but I think this one could be better, Naldo is evil now, then we were both baby faces so it wasn't as good. Why do I want to do a feud with Naldo? Simple we sell each other really well, I haven't been impressed with the lack of selling in the T.F.W.F. recently, I sold Maker's burning my house gimmick, but twisted it slightly saying material possessions were important as the memories. However, I was disappointed Crème didn't sell Torch's stealing belt thing. Though I thought the idea was lame since the feud was entirely based on sexuality, Crème just didn't sell it. Bringing me onto this match, everyone aspects me to be hard on Torch all the time, but this isn't meant as a personal attack just an opinion. I don't think Torch sells other guys well in rps. I thought he could have sold Crème so much better, but was too concerned for a while OOC about the whole gay thing, secondly I didn't think he deserved to win, his satanic thing is getting better, but lets just say Crème is hot as an rper right now and the feud has now been ended, I thought this was a poor call by Hugo (yes, I can tell who writes what if you can't well, its not hard) Crème quite easily should be floating around the top of the T.F.W.F., but now he is languishing after an undeserved defeat, at the end of the day can we afford to lose someone like Crème making him lose when he doesn't deserve to? Bringing myself on to two guys the T.F.W.F. needs to get going, Chad and Phenom. Phenom has improved with leaps and bounds from Undertakerish of old to bad ass Undertakerish of new? Strange that. However, Phenom is tough and a good rper and we all know I am high on him and Chad so with absolutely no previous build up they made a great feud for the PPV, much better than Tremere vs. Samson and X vs. Snap which should have been good, but nobody did jack shit for. Speaking of which are we flogging a dead horse or what? Samson kidnapped? Now I liked 'Buttered' (my nick name for Samson Toastell, Toast get it?) and his idea, but lets face facts Tremere hasn't been into the T.F.W.F. for some time, he's just kind of floating around much like Killboy did for months, much like the 3rd of 4th Yankee return, so why use this angle which is good, but the feud won't go anywhere. I don't know. Then we have X, he can have all the great catchphrases and play on words, but the fact is X is, Hugo's 2nd character something I never agree with (2 characters) so why give him a feud with Snap. Lets face it Snap in real life is 11 he has a great gift for writing and the more he does it the better he'll be. Speaking of developing gifts for writing, did the Asylum write that last rp? Its amazing for me it was a good rp, but I have to feel they had too much help with it, which I deem as unfair to have basically someone write you an rp. Why would I accuse someone of this, well we have gone from shit ass rps to very good in a few days? Hmm Batman something don't smell right and it ain' the Penguins fishy pants. I think its time we faced facts the Asylum have been a successful tag team in the T.F.W.F. because the division is weak as a chair Onimushai just got out of. Now they have competition they just keep getting their asses kicked, my advice would be lets see some Asylum indivudual wrestling for a while. What have we left oh the new guys...let me see...Phantasm, not bad little rusty...Mike Mission despite his close to the family jewels rp he ain't bad, oh then we have Razer...hmmm...well he blows. I mean what is the T.F.W.F. doing? The guy has like what rp'd 3 sentence rps and he's in, shit Flener, the Westsiders and Brick rp'd better than him! And all that bullshit like oh I want to fight Pant-asm give me a break! What the problem is which Razer is demonstrating is the T.F.W.F. is in some what of a slump for good regular rpers. Tremere, Killboy, Chris Chaos, Invader (if they are still with us) don't rp enough. Torch is kind of in limbo because he is a decentish rper, but because we have no guys he is well up the card, Chad and Phenom are kind of languishing in nowhere ville, Snap, Creme, Tiger and a whole heap of others are hear or roundabouts. Problem is we have more mid cardrers than a old WCW Main Event and 3 Main Eventers...what to do? Fact is we should make standards in this fed, not every Tom, Dick or Razer should be able to get in anymore we need to go to feds and find decent good rpers, we need to sell each others ideas and we need to rp more regularly. Yes we are all getting over this weeks events and last weeks, yes the card of the century was damn well rushed, but to be honest did Make or Torch have much to work with? I am not so sure...we need a Yankee, a Killboy, an Invader, a Tremere, a Chgris Chaos a Cry Baby...we just need to make it worth being here more.
