"Drunk" is a third generation Magnolia Hill homebred and the first foal of the fantastic racer National Whiskey Ban. He is the second foal of the champion sprinter Moonshine's Crowing Hen Both his parents earned many awards for Magnolia Hill. "Drunk" has done his best to continue their tradition of excellance. So far he has won three Grade I races, including the Newsweek Stakes and the Oak Tree Classic. He was placed in the Mojave Desert Cup Juveniles (G1) and most recently placed third in the highly competitive Sunshine Millions Derby (G1). Though oringally scoffed at as little more than a sprinter due to his 1/2 paint mother, he was outran his pedigree many times, winning at distances up to 11 Furlongs.

National Whiskey Ban is an amazing 13 time grade I winner of such races as the 2003 Mojave Desert Cup Juvenile (G1), Labor Day Classic (G1), Winter Wonderland Snow Championship Classic (G1), February Championship (G1), 2004 Trainers' Cup Classic (G1) and Inagrual Sunshine Million Classic (G1). He is also the winner of the Bluegrass Series Thoroughbred Division for 2004 and was voted Three Year Old Male HOTY, Juvenile Male HOTY, Thoroughbred HOTY and Overall HOTY for Summer 2004. His Sire, Lucayen's National Secret is a five time grade I winner, 2001 Male HOTY, Summer 2004 Stud RHOTY and is the sire of eight foals, three of which are Grade I winners (37.5%). Lucayen Prince was a multiple grade I winner on the flat and over fences. He is the sire of several stakes winners and was voted HOTY multiple times. Lady's Secret was also a Grade I winner of such races as the Ruffian Handicap and the Breeder's Cup Distaff. She was champion Older Filly/Mare and was voted RHOTY broodmare. Whiskey's Bixby is a stakes winner and dam of two grade I winners including National Whiskey Ban and Lucayen's Whiskey Lady.
