Anavra - sectors A and B

    Anavra's crags are a "must" for the region of Magnesia. The sectors A&B have vertical rock slabs and you have to be accustomed to climb with not good footholds, slabs and fissures. Moreover, at sector B there is a small cave with 2 very beautiful and hard, overhanging routes.
    To reach Anavra's crags you must follow the road that drives from Almyros to Anavra's village. In the middle of the distance you will see the crags on your left. It's very easy to recognise the sectors because they are the first rockie cluster in the region. As you continue driving to Anavra you will find a church on your right, 300m away you have to turn left on a dirty (but very good quality) road and 5 min later you park your car on corral on your left. Then you have to follow the signs that gives you the way to reach the start of the routes.
     Most of routes on these sectors have two pitches , so you need a single rope of 60 m (almost) or double ropes and 16 quickdraws. There are two belays, at the top of the route and in the middle. Helmet use is reccomended because of the rock relief.
