| The last few years, in Greece, we had an increase of the sport climbing. As a result, many new crags have been discovered, new sectors and many new routes have been bolted, wherever this is permitted from the conditions. Magnesia is located at the east-central coast of Thessaly. It is surrounded between Pelion and Othris mountains. In these mountains there are numerous limestone crags from 15 to 100 meters high. In this region, today, there are many new sectors and hundreds of sport climbing routes equipped very well. You can climb all day, all seasons, from dawn till night, even during winter. The number of climbing routes has doubled since year 2000 and as a result the need to develope a web page or a climbing guide has been borned. So here we are, ready for an Internet exploration... |
