TERMS-PLEASE READ!!
I paint by hand in acrylics for the base coats/finishing markings, and OILS for top coats. 3-6 layers of lightfast oil coats are applied, depending on color. Many, many hours are put into each piece. Despite the many layers of paint, the paintjobs are very smooth. They often have been confused with airbrushed pieces because they are so smooth!! However you cannot beat the debth of an oil paint job! Fine details are my specialty, with attention to individual hairs. Sometimes I use colored pencils for detailing, but tend to prefer detailing in paint. I have been painting models with oils for over 22 years now, have completed hundreds of champions, which have won at all major show across the country, often beating the more "popular" names!
PAINTING SLOT RESERVATIONS
I am no longer reserving individual dates. All horses will be painted on a "first come, first paid in full, first served" basis.
Completion times vary on amount of work, my schedule, and dozens of other things. I WILL NOT guarentee a completion date, or do rush orders for shows. All pieces come with a 1 year limited workmanship guarentee.

I reserve the right to refuse any unfinished body that does not meet my quality standards. Which means most Breyers, some Stones, and some resins. I want to create reality in miniature, and some sculptures are not acceptable. And with todays standards, I want to make a top quality winning piece for you!
PREPPING-PLEASE READ!! I actually prefer to do MY OWN prepping, and have included that in the price, except where noted. Even when I get horses already prepped, many times it makes little difference since I still have to go over it to make it to my quality standards. NOTE- prepping resins with excellent molding jobs and smooth finishes, such as Williams, Nandell, Rose, Minkiewicz, etc, is included in the price!
WHAT WIILL INCURE AN EXTRA CHARGE are all PLASTICS (Except SM's), and those resins that are home cast, or bumpy artistic style that need lots of sanding and filling. The extra fee for these is $40.
RETURN SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.
What is incuded in the price-priming, veining, paintjob, matte krylon finish, glossy eyes and hooves, and shoes when available. Full farrier services are available-including carving of all feet and Rio Rondo shoes all around. Ask for quote.

Due to problems in the past, I prefer not to do time payments. Full payment is prefered at the time your model arrives. No work will be started without any payment. No piece will be shipped until paid in full. However, sometimes people want me to paint a model as I please and I cannot give a final price until the model has been finished, or they send several horses at a time. In these cases I will allow payments, with 1/2 down and balance due upon completion.
CUSTOMIZING, other than resculpted manes, tails and small enchancements, are not available at this time. Sculpted manes and tails IN EPOXY are available on this basic guideline:

SOLIDS include all solid and slightly dappled colors EXCEPT dappled greys, smutty colors, grulla, and cemello/perlino.
MODERATE COLORS include roans, moderate appy and pinto/paint on regular colors, and extreme dappling on regular colors
EXTREME COLORS include dappled greys, smuttys, rose greys, perlino, cremello, and extreme appy/pinto/paint colors on regular colors.
PINTO/APPY COLORS ON EXTREME BASE COLORS-add $50 for moderate and $100 for extreme patterns.
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY ORDER, AT ANY TIME, FOR ANY REASON! If you are the type that have to constantly email me asking how your horses are doing, most likely your order will be cancelled, or, I will not do business with you again! My time is best spent on painting, not on the computer.
TRADES-I am always happy to trade for top quality unpainted resins, and I also need the Stone ISH's Hot Flash and Hot Spot, two of my designs I never got a copy of from Stone. Also I need Jersey Girl, another one I did not get a copy of.
