The Ralph Video

This is apparently a video that was released around 1981, to promote some of the acts that Ralph were recording at the time, especially the The Residents, of course. My copy is second hand from my friend, Residents and RatL fan extraordinaire and folk songstress supreme, Edith Frost. I have never seen the packaging, if it was ever released commercially.

CONTENTS:
1TUXEDOMOON-- Jinx
2 MX-80 SOUND--Why Are We Here
3 THE RESIDENTS-- One Minute Movies
"Moisture"; "The Act Of Being Polite"; "Perfect Love"; The Simple Song"
4 Hello Skinny
5 3rd Reich and Roll
6 SNAKEFINGER-- Man In The Dark Sedan
7 RENALDO & THE LOAF-- Songs For Swinging Larvae

The RatL clip is really three linked videos to songs from the Songs period,
1 Spratts Medium
2 Lime Jelly Grass
3 Melvyn's Repose (which isn't even from Songs for Swinging Larvae!)

The video tells an appropriately bizarre tale of a small child playing in his mother's white kitchen as his mother prepares strange red liquids in a deep red robe (both she and the child are dressed in solid red). The child is pulled out the window at the end of Spratt's Medium. In Lime Jelly Grass, the child has been abducted by an old man with a huge wig of black, wild hair. This man bathes the child and gives him a blue sailor suit to wear. They then make food backwards and play. That night, they, like Melvyn, are reposing, and the child steals away, to return to his mother's kitchen and red liquids. There he finds a great surprise!

If I can find this video anywhere, I'll post the information.
