How are we related?
Well here's the long and short of it. This is a bit convoluted (as many family trees are!) and there are no simple ways to explain things. So if you are interested in a bit of history and gossip...you can either go to the Family Updates and Chismis page or email me for more information. Some stories though, are better left untold.
Our Family Tree
Strange set up huh? Recognize any relations? How about these trees...
Casas-Linco
There are very few Lincos and Casases in the Philippines. If you are a Linco or a Casas whose family originally hailed from Iloilo or Bacolod, then there is a good chance that we are related. Many clan members have also moved to the southern parts of the Philippines including Davao and South Cotabato.
Eliserio-Morales
The Eliserios and Moraleses come from Banga, Aklan. There is a town where almost everyone is related to everyone else and some of them are Eliserios or Moraleses.

Zembrano-Sonio
Zembranos and Sonios are a mix of Aklanons and Pangasinense. One wonders how the branches got mixed but that's the beauty of family...you can find one in almost any place in the world especially with the Internet.
Linco-Jardeleza
Lincos and Jardelezas are pure Ilonggos. These clan hail from Iloilo (Linco) and from Kawayway, Murcia in Bacolod. Lola Peling (Felisa Jardeleza Linco) lived up to about 108 years old. She was a woman way before her time. Twice married, she only had one child, a son. The matriarch of the Linco-Jardeleza clan she was a strong woman with healing talents and practical household skill. She lived up to 1992. She was 12 years old when the Philippines' national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal was shot in Bagumbayan in 1896.

I have to yet complete some blanks so keep coming back for more tree-ish updates.
