Welcome to Cebu friends network!

We've lived in Cebu for my entire elementary years (that's grade one through grade six) giving us countless memories of people and places who will always be a part of us.

We first lived in Mandaue City and I went to Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion (CIC) in Mandaue.  What I would always remember is the feeling of excitement every time we are crossing the Mactan Bridge.  I also remember pretty well the huge San Miguel Beer bottle atop the SMB Corporation, which we often pass to and from school.

After a year, we moved to Escario Extension and I went to CIC in Lahug.  I had some friends, the closest are the ones whom I can still remember.

Jeffrey Manalaysay - his mom and my mom were friends, I think and we were schoolmates at CIC.

Marie Blanche Regual - they have a shop featuring capiz decor and native cloths.  I used to spend time with her during lunch breaks when I'd bring my baon and have lunch at their shop.  Blanche was very pretty and sweet.

Ma. Milagros Larraņaga - Mimi was my best pal.  We talked about so many things and shared little girl's secrets and dreams.  Her brothers Paco and Emmanuel were small boys back then.  They must be huge men by now.

Erica, Ma. Teresa Aberasturi, Lara Briones, Frances Dawn Reynes, Reina, Pamela...

We move to Talamban and I had to change school by 4th grade.  I went to Talamban Elementary School where I made some life-long friendships.

Giselle Erana - is my best friend and soul sister.  We've written one another erratically over the years, updating one another when we have moments to spare.  I visited her in Cebu in 1993, just before I left for the UAE in 1994.

Judalaine Gerona - we're practically rivals, competitors for academic excellence yet that did not come between our friendship.  I met with her in 1993 along with Giselle and our friendship seemed to have gotten better as the years go by.

Other friends were: Rosalia Arcilla, Jean Vercide, Judith Tesio, Charina Mayol, Brussel Surban, Ryan Bordadora, Giovanni Sinco.

My parents were also active members of Kiwanis Club International and the Cebu Jaycees.  I think my mom even became Jaycee president one year.
