Ingredients:
2 lbs. beef sirloin roast, sliced into 1/4 thick, in one piece 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons lemon juice 4 pieces Vienna sausage, cut into 4 diagonally 2 pieces sweet gherkins or 4 pieces sweet pickles, cut in thin long strips 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cut in strips 1/2 carrots, cut into long strips 3 slices bacon 2 tablespoon flour 1/4 cooking oil 2 pieces brith cubes dissolved in 3 cups boiling water salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
Marinate beef in lemon juice and soy sauce. Arrange strips Vienna sausage, swet gherkins, hard boiled eggs, cheese, carrots and bacon on marinated beef. Roll and tie with a string. Dredge in flour then brown in hot cooking oil.
Transfer to a big saucepan. Add broth cubes water. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until beef is tender. Slice, arrange in a platter. Pour sauce on top. Garnish with sprigs of parsley.
