BEEF CALDERETA
Ingredients:

1/2 kilo beef round, cut into cubes
vegetable oil spray
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, sliced
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 tomato sauce
2 medium-size potatoes, quartered
1/2 cup green peas
1 red bell pepper, cubed freshly
ground black pepper
salt to taste
hot sauce to taste

Cooking procedure:

1. Boil the beef until tender. Cool and remove congealed fat from the broth.

2.Spray a saucepan with vegetable oil twice. Saute the garlic and onions. Add the beef, tomatoes sauce and potatoes. Cook until potatoes are tender.

3.Add the peas and bell peppers. Cover and simmer for a few minutes.

4.Season with black pepper, salt and hot sauce.
