Ingredients:
8 beef sirloin slices (1/4-inch thick, 3-inch wide) salt to taste vegetable oil for frying 1 medium-size onion, sliced in rings, separated 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
Procedure:
Season the beef sirloin slices lightly with salt. In a non-stick skillet over a meduim heat, pan-fry beef slices in a little oil, browning both side until meduim well done (2-3 minutes cooking on each side). Remove meat from skillet. Arrange on a serving platter.
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon oil saute onion slice over meduim high heat for 1 minute. Add lemon juice and soy sauce. Cook for another 30 seconds. POur onion slices and sauce over beef on platter. Serve immediately with steam rice. |
