Tips


First of all, always jump near trees and on top of houses to find money
or hearts.

If you finish a level with all your hearts you get a bonus of points.

More points mean more hearts.

In town, jump off ladders to the left and right. Sometimes you may get
a surprise.

In towns there are lots of hidden doors. Try any place where you think
there could be a door. Behind hidden doors there are people sometimes
who will help you in your quest.

Monsters giving you a weapon are unnecessary to defeat, but they will
increase the strenght of your sword. It's up to you to fight them or
not. 

If you jump when you're on clouds, you could get money.

In shops with a ? symbol, you can get fireballs and thunder. A good
way to make the end easier to finish is to get fireballs everytime you
see that kind of shop so at the end you have many fireballs to shoot
at the dragon.

In the Coastal town of Boroboro, you can kill the boss twice. Go and
kill him first, by jumping over the water and not falling into it.
When you're out of the boss' lair, get in the water, you'll go to
another piece of world and then when you're back, kill the boss again.
Gives you more money.

In the Mam desert, buy two ales in the tavern, and you'll get a letter
that will avoid you to have to fight the Sphinx.

The blue knight is another enemy you can fight twice. Beat it, then
go on the little island and play the flute (you need to talk to 
Catherine behind a hidden door in town to have the flute) then go
to the right, there will be small castle there. Do the castle, talk to
the man who will give you a special item to exchange to someone else.
Then when you come back, beat the blue knight again.

The last castle is like a labyrinth. If you talked to everyone you had
to during the game, someone will give you a choice between a bell and
a ruby. Take the bell, it will make a sound to show you the road
to follow in the castle. When you know that road very well and replay,
then you can take the ruby, which will weaken the power of the dragon.
