Nice, neat, simple

The purpose of the game is to save your girlfriend from the evil Demon that steals her from you in the beginning of the game.

Almost everything that moves in this game is an enemy. It's simple but not easy as you have just a few lives to make your way through hundreds and hundreds of baddies. Is it interesting?? I dunno. Maybe for a short game, once in a while. It gets quite repetitive after a moment, like many NES games.

Colorful, cute, funny

Oh does my kid love that one! The purpose of the game is to pass through environments while avoiding obstacles, swallowing baddies, playing little games within the game, and fighting big baddies. You can get all kinds of powers by swallowing the monsters. It's really cool.

And how colorful and cute! My daughter spends hours on this.

Neat, nice, addictive

One of the best games on the NES, if you ask me. The purpose of the game is to deposit Crystals in Palaces to wake up Princess Zelda from her eternal sleep. You have various obstacles to pass and items to get to succeed in your quest.

What to say? I play this since forever and it's always just as good. It's simple and still quick to play in a way. And much more interesting visually than many games of that time, RPGs included. A must have.

Simple, neat, easy

The purpose of the game is to save a Princess from the evil... dragon? turtle? pig? I don't remember what that animal is supposed to be. You have different environments to go through, with various monsters and bonuses. There's a money system which is like, when you get 100 coins, you get an extra life. And there is many many coins to get in the game. When you lose all your lives, you can continue. There are bonus warps which can make you skip parts of the game to arrive to the end quickerly.

The game is divided into sections. The fourth part of every section is a huge castle made like a labyrinth, at the end of which you have a boss. The last boss is at the end of the last - and hardest - castle, and then you get to save the princess.

This game is very colourful and easy enough for kids to like it. The music is not too bad either, for a game from that time. It can be a very cool and addictive game.

Neat, nice, funny

Here again, you have different worlds to do and monsters to kill, but the maps and gameplay make it all different. You can grab monsters and throw them at the head of other monsters. You can also do that with vegetables. The boss is a disturbed lizard? animal? thing? who thinks throwing eggs at your head is fun. At some levels, the boss can also be a rat. At the end of each level, if you gained coins, you can play a sort of slot machine to gain extra lives.

One funny thing here is that you don't have to be Mario, you can pick from 4 different characters, each with strengths and weaknesses. Very neat design once again, this game is another cool one.
