Fantasy Zone II - Tears of Opa-Opa Tips Don't expect to go far in the game without at least the normal engine, and even more if possible. Big bombs make it faster. And... the continuous shoot is quite a delite. Bosses are kind of easy so I don't need to tell how to kill which and which, heavy bombs still do miracles here, including for the blue vertical one. Heavy bombs are larger than you, remember. There are hidden shops and items. I don't know what the clock is all about, but the hidden shops (in levels 3, 5 and 6) contain several useful items... including more life power and the continuous shoot. Monsters are different than in the first one. When you kill a base or monsters from the base, you get coins every time, but when you kill ordinary monsters, you need to shoot a complete serie before gaining anything. Like, if you see penguins, you have to get all the penguins and then you gain a coin. If one penguin escapes, you don't get anything but points. You have different engines, weapons and bombs, that you never saw in the first Fantasy Zone. It's interesting to try them all, but if you do so, don't forget to gain lots and lots of money. If you can find the continuous shoot, it will certainly help. (I wonder where Opa-Opa hides his money... coins are bigger than him at times!) The ending here is like in the 1st game, so you'll need to keep a lot of money (and lives ) for that too. by MaginciaMagincia April 2003
