Tips


The character doesn't hit the same way when he's looking on the sides
than when he looks up or down, so try all these positions before
calculating the distance to keep with enemies.

Some enemies can give you gold or different weapons. Monsters shooting
at you are more susceptible to give you better weapons than little
weaklings. Dogs, cats and birds are mercenaries you can get to tag
along if you send them gold.

There are some objects of which you can only get rid with fireballs.
Therefore, try to collect as many fireballs as possible and keep them
for those precious uses.

One button selects the weapon you use, which will be highlighted on
top of the screen. If you don't want to use you most precious weapons
at an unappropriate time, make sure nothing is highlighted so you
attack with your sword.

Some bosses or enemies can only be killed with some special weapons.
Try to collect as many special weapons as possible.

When you quit a screen, and come back, monsters are back too, so you
can get more items that way.

In some places there is water. Water will make you lose lots of life
points unless you have special boots to walk on it. Some enemies
will give you those Boots. Boots don't last very long so you'll need
more than one pair.

When you complete a level, your life points are refilled. I don't know
if there are other ways to refill them. I think it has something to
do with wells, but I'm not sure.
