Have a seat stranger, my name is Janier and I'm a pilot for the FWA.  Since you're interested in the FWA, I'll tell you a little about it.  Be sure to ask your DM/GM about using the FWA in your game, it's a great way to introduce new characters, gain new skills, and go new places in the galaxy.  I've seen and done alot in the FWA, so I know what I'm talking about.

The FWA was founded about 37 years ago, and the initials FWA stand for the Free World Alliance.  Stormy, whom I've heard you may have already met, created the FWA when she first started space traveling.  She discovered there had been a war destroying the Federation of Planets, so she decided to take the challenge of creating order in the universe.  We only had the remains of space ships and mechs when we first started, but we have many talented people in the FWA, so we've been able to build and repair alot.  Due to a lack of resourses, we've had trouble making new protype ships, but our fleet of hand-me-downs is good and strong.  I've just been reassigned to a science vessel which will start searching for metals on distant worlds.  Our scientists are hoping that these metals will allow us to start mass-producing our own line of battle ships.

Now look, I've been droning on.  I hope I haven't bored you with the shop talk.  Back to how you can use the FWA.  Once your DM/GM agrees to introduce the FWA into your gaming world, you can download the FWA Academy information and decide if you'd like an existing character to join or if you'd like to make a new character which will be injected into your game through the FWA.  Most of the FWA is made up of mutants, so if you've been looking at perhaps putting together a mutant character, this would be a great way to get them into the game.

Annoying has a handy map of Rigal 7, where FWA Headquarters and the Academy are located.  Rigal 7 used to be a small smugglers town, as I've heard it told, a rough place to visit...but, that was before my time.  I also heard that the park was named after one of Stormy's friends who died during one of their visits to the planet.  No matter what anyone tells you, Stormy is not the cranky mage that she seems.  She really only wants to balance things and further the cause of magic and order.  It's hard to explain Stormy, but people always ask about her, I just know that when it comes down to it, she really does have a good soul.  Don't tell her I told you.  Oh, and everything you've heard about her fortune is true.  She is one rich mage!  She sank a ton of gold into the FWA, to pull things together and get us the best of everything.  You'd hardly know the ships in our fleet were pieced back together...everything is re-built and comfort is high up on Stormy's priority list.

Also, just because you're a player, doesn't mean the Master's Inn is off limits.
Vor has some great information that you can take a look at if you want.  Just go on over and talk to him, he is really smart...but don't let his appearance spook you.  He's really cool.

Well, I've prattled on long enough and it's almost time for me to get back to base.  My ship departs soon.  Maybe we'll see each other if you decide to join up.  I hope I've given you a good picture of the FWA.  You can always email me if you want help or other ideas.  Give Molly this gold piece to cover my tab.  Bye.
