Stormy's Magical Energy Transferance  (SPELL):
If your group has decided to go questing in space (and I can't say I blame you if you've talked to Verminaard and Vor) then your magic user will want to learn this spell to use if ever in a pinch.  Turgil actually suggested this idea to me and I set out to make a spell...so, here's the idea...
Original Idea (Option #1):

If you ever find your star ship in a major battle and there is no energy left to power the shields, this spell would allow the magic user to transfer some of their magical energy to technology based power.  We suggest that the energy by stored inside an object, such as a valuable, rare crystal before the transfer can be complete.

DM/GM SET THE LIMITS:  Because of the delicate balance between technology and magic, we recommend a severe negative effect should the magic user roll a low number when the spell is cast (provided of course, that you still use the dice method).  {Example:  Low dice rolls could result in several decks of the ship being destroyed, the magic user being destroyed, or even the whole ship blown to pieces should the roll be low enough.  Say, like a 1.}
