Religious Vignettes

There was a flood. The water is rising higher and higher. Somebody climbed on to the roof. He prayed to G-d, "My G-d, rescue me." Three times different boats sailed near. The boatmen offered him to come to sit in their boat, but he refused and said, "My G-d will save me." When he went to heaven he asked, "My G-d, why didn't you help me? I strongly begged you." G-d answered, "I gave you three chances but you didn't seize them."

--What kind of Jew are you? You don't know Yiddish language!
--You know Yiddish, but it was learned from your relative. You did not go to the synagogue. I try to connect myself to Judaism, that is my goal.

About Changing Human Nature

A. Human Theory
Communists and fascists wanted to change human nature according to their theories.

B. Monotheistic G-d Theory
Religious Jews want to change the humane nature according to the commandments of the Torah. Christianity and Islam act the same as Jews.

C. The Western Civilization, including America, did not want to change human nature; they wanted to change their laws for the people.

About Seed

In America some times the Old Russian religious Jews said, "Whoever wanted to connect himself with religions in the Soviet Union, would have been connected".

My opinion is three generations of people, especially Jews, lived without their culture and religion. The Government persecuted them. In people there was not any seed from which could grow Religion, on other occasions.
I think that religious people there and those here who are connected with religion in America are heroes.
