INTRODUCTION

 Jewish people have existed for more than 3000 years. In that time hundreds of nations have disappeared from the earth; they passed away. Sometimes we know only their names.

The threat of declining numbers of Jewish people is caused by assimilation and low childbirth rate.

Years ago, the father and mother chose the brides and grooms for their children. The bride and groom had the same nationality (Jewish) and religion as their parents. They usually fell in love after they lived together as spouses. The father's decision was final. That was not so bad. (The children from religious families are more controlled by their parents than children from non-religious families.) Then there probably were fewer divorce cases than there are now.

Right now, there are often mixed marriages. Under Jewish law, if the mother is not Jewish the children are not Jewish. They lose their Judaism. If the mother is Jewish, the children are Jewish. They are included in Judaism if the father does not interfere with that. I think that mixed families have more problems than non-mixed families, especially the children.

The parents have to have responsibility before their children can become responsible. In America, there are big problems with mixed marriages.

In the former Soviet Union towns and cities did not have Jewish regions. (That was the Government policy). There were often mixed marriages, as the people wanted to receive the designation "Russian" in their passport* for a better life for their children and a career.

*All people in the Soviet Union had an internal passport. A child in a mixed family could choose the nationality of only one of his parents. When someone enrolled in a job, college, etc. he had to show his passport.

I propose to organize a Jewish orthodox community where all shops will be kosher. There will be synagogues, religious schools, yeshivas, etc.


Regulation of the community

1. There can live only orthodox Jews.

2. Inside the community, there will be a religious court.
The most important task for Jewish court is to reconcile litigants. If litigants don't agree with the decision of Jewish court, case will be transferred in Government court.

3. Each Jewish man has to serve some time in the volunteer's Jewish police.

4. There will be religious education for all children under 16 years. Only married couples together could study in the universities out of the community.

5. Jews could earn money where it was possible, but spend it only in their community.

6. Jews have to give 10% of their income to the Jewish community fund for education and helping poor Jewish families.


The Jewish community will not have a problem with assimilation. Rabbis will organize and control intellectual life there. Jews will follow Jewish tradition and seek G'D and educate the children. The Jews will study Torah, Talmud, and commentaries of sages and they will not have time to be concerned a bout information out side the community.

May be that town will have some religious centers, connected with different rabbis and their synagogues.

They have many holidays: barmitzva, batmitzva, brith, 'apsharon' (cutting boy's hair at 3 years). They helped the first the woman, which gave birth to the children.

Each week they celebrate 'Shabbat', and yearly holidays
Rosh Hashana-1-2 Tishrei,
'Tashlich',
'Kapporot',
Sukkot-16 Tishrei,
Simchat Torah-23 Tishrei,
Chanukah-24 Kislev-3 Tevet,
Purim-14 Adar,
Passsover-15-22 Nisan,
Shavuot-6-7 Sivan,
American Independent day-July, 4,
'Yom Ha'Atrmaut', Israel's Independence Day.
And we have some sorrowful holidays (9 Av and some other days).

As a result, families will be having 10 or more children. That guarantees big immigration to Israel and a surplus of population in the community has to create the same organization of religious communities in other parts of America. Each new community will spread the same way in America.
But we have to allow 5% of non Jews to live in those communities because they can perform job on Shabbat which Jews cannot do (light gas, push electric button, etc.)

I think if my idea would be realized, then during the next hundred years orthodox Jews will colonize all America.
