The Political relationship between Russia and USA today

We lived in the time when empires fell apart; for example, British, French, Soviet Union etc. Many national independent states organized themselves instead of empires.

In our opinion, Russia also will fall apart. Some autonomous republics of Russia will become independent states; for example, Tartarstan, Chechnya etc.

President V.V. Putin will try to save and actually widen the borders of his empire. For that he must stay as a dictator with all the control in his own hands. As during the Soviet time, Putin looks for and writes for his enemies whom he calls animals.

That was the politics that lead to the 'cold war'. With that philosophy, what was bad for America was good for Russia and vice versa.

The West, including the USA, can not be indifferent when Russia becomes a dictatorship state and creates a new empire. The west supported the creation of national states, as a result of free voting, according to an international standard. The last example is Montenegro, Kosovo.
Putin's politics is narrow-minded. The experience of WW2 showed that flirting with Germany became a big tragedy for people of the Soviet Union. Flirting with dictator states as Iran, Syria, and terrorist organizations as Hamas and Hezbollah could lead to unpredictable results.

In our opinion the world now is gently polarized, but democracy is preferable to the majority of people, compared to any kind of dictatorship. The victory will be behind the democratic states. The prototype of the future model of the world, in our opinion, can be today's Europe: the Union of the independent national states, common market and the military organization, a type of NATO.
