Turmoil on overseas trip as shotgun council members go to war. |

Rome, Italy : During a diplomatic visit to the Italian capital, members of the Shotgun Council were reported to have argued following an incident in which glorious and noble leader, Darth Bob had ordered the CM Kev, the head of secret police agency SOCO, and commander of the air force to drink a shot of grappa (Italy's national aperitif).
CM Kev is well known as a staunch opponent of excessive consumption of alcohol and had apparently respectfully refused to carry out the order.
In a trademark fit of rage, the Darth allegedly fired CM Kev and expelled him from the council. Several other members of the council supported the move and were quick to divide up the former members responsiblilites. |

For several hours the very fabric of government in the Republic was under threat as the ousted members notorious temper flared and reports suggest that he had made threats to release the dreaded 'Dossiers' on the entire council, and on Darth Bob himself.
Upon return to the Triangle, Darth Bob announced that a trial would be held against CM Kev for insubordination, but other crimes, including conspiracy to commit high treason and regicide would be overlooked.
It is expected that CM Kev will be re-instated and that he will no doubt have his terrible revenge on the conspirators.

CM Dan, minister for culture, media and sport was appointed new head of SOCO while CM Scott was made responsible for the personal protection of the Darth.
Matters were made worse still by interference from a known agitator named Paul, who has been reported to meet with CM Dan on a regular basis for sporting activites of dubious sexuality. |
