| strategy when building a deck |
| here you will find everything you need to know when you construct a deck. |
| first thing you need to know before building a deck is wath color you want to play. there is 5 colors in magic, green, blue, black, white and red. Each colors have its strong points and its weak points. for exemple green is very good in mana acceleration. Below you will find each colors with their strong points and weak points.To know more about the colors click on one of your choice below. |

| land |
| their is also lands card in magic that give you mana. when building a deck i suggest you to have 60 cards max in your deck because it easier to draw a card that you have only one time in your deck. to know how much lands card you should put into your deck, think of what kind of deck you have. If you have a elf deck that give you many mana you should put aroud 15 or 17 land cards. If you have a blue deck with high casting cost you should put aroud 23 or 25 lands. Just think if your deck need many mana because if the most high casting cost card in your deck is 4 you should not have 25 land but aroud 17 land, so you can put more creature and sorcery. |
| creatures |
| you need creatures in all kinds of deck. Creature are make to attack and block other creatures. Some creature card have special abilities like llawnowar elf that can give you one green mana. there is also creature types like elf, dragon and merfolks. These creature type are very useful eith cards like coat of arms and urza incubator because you can get them out faster or meke them stronger with cards that are make for goblins or elf. there is also legend cards. You can only have one copy of a legend card in play because the rules say that if you put a legend card into play and there is another copy of that card into play you have to bury it. You should always put many creature in your deck because if you don't have creature in play your opponents can attack you and you can't block them. |
| sorcery and instant |
| in every deck there is instant and sorcery card because they can make a lot of things and your opponents don't see it coming. There is many powerfull instant and sorcery in magic like terror that can bury creature or like holy day that can save your life. you should alway have a good numbers of instant and socery in your deck because they are very powerfull. |
| artifacts |
| artifacts are very powerful in every deck because they are colorless so you can use any type of mana to use them. artifact are like enchantment, they stay in play and you can use their abilities any time. artifact are weak to disenchant and pillage. their is some artifact creature like draco and phyrexian dreadghnought that are very powerful but you need to sacrife creature or pay mana to keep them. some creature are unblokable exep by artifact creature so its always good to have at least 1 artifact creature. |
| enchantment |
| enchantment are card that you don't need to activate their abilities because their effect work until the enchantment leave play. enchantment are alway usefull in every deck. there is some enchantments that you don't need to put 4 time in your deck becauseit no use to have 4 crackdown in play its just a waste of space in your deck. |
