| have you ever asked why everybody say that black lotus is so good, it just give you 3 manas of one color and you have to sacrifice it! ok, first black lotus is an artifact with a casting cost of 0 so you can get it out on your first turn. that mean that if you play black lotus and a land card on your first turn oyu get 4 mana on your first turn. With 4 manas on your first turn you can cast a mungha wurm ( 6/5 ). Even if you don't draw black lotus on your first turn it can be very usefull for a mana boost. there is also great combos with black lotus like channel + black lotus + fire ball + montain, first turn you play a montain after you play black lotus, sacrifice the black lotus, cast channel, tap your montain, pay 19 life to add 20 mana to your mana pool with channel and the montain and cast fire ball with the remaining mana of black lotus and put your 20 mana into it to deal 20 damage to your opponents on the first turn. |
