| what happen to a local enchantment when the enchat creature is return to its owners hand with a card like boomerang ? let say that you have a tundra wolf (1/1 first strike) in play with a holy strenght (enchant creature gain +1/+2) and your opponent cast a boomerang (return target permanent to owners hand) on the tundra wolf the holy strenght do not return in your hand but go in your graveyard because when local enchantment do not have any creature to enchant it goes to its owners graveyard. if your opponent play its boomerang on holy strenght it returns to your hand but not the creature because only the enchantment is the target. if you have a avatar of woe in play and your opponent play arest on it you can play boomerang on avatar of woe to return it to your hand and put the arest to your opponent graveyard. So when a boomerang is play on a creature with local enchantment on it all the enchantment go to its owners graveyard. |
