half of Caroline, Dan is a strange character. He has some sort of
fear of water (anyone know the technical term?), which meant he
avoided going under the waterful in Trinidad, and on a recent
trip to Alton Towers he decided against the Congo River Rapids
for the reason of "not wanting to be wet in the car on the
way back". OK Dan.
Despite this phobia, Dan now studies in one of the rainiest places in the world, Scotland (Edinburgh), after failing his first year at Warwick. This means we don't get to see him as much anymore but when we do it's always a cause for celebration, and inevitably a few drinks. Another strange habit of Dan's is to let his cereals 'brew' - he'll sometimes leave his breakfast on the table for around half a day before eating it. And once he responded to claims that he didn't eat enough vegetables by scoffing a whole plate of carrots and nothing else.
