Thumb Tip

Silk from CD

EFFECT

The magician produces a CD and has a spectator examine it he then takes it back and proceeds to produce a silk from the hole in the center, he then hands the CD and silk back to the spectator for further examination.

METHOD

all you need for this trick is a thumb tip, a silk, and a CD (I tend to use the ones you get free in shops for free internet trials). Have the thumb tip ready in your pocket with the silk loaded inside it. Then give out the CD for examination while it is being examined, slip on the thumb tip, and then when you get the CD back take of the thub tip and have the opening of it just below the centre hole of the CD, proceed to pull the silk out of the hole and put the thumb tip back on.

Vanishing Salt

EFFECT

The magician makes his hand into a fist and pours lots of salt from a salt cellar into it. He then compacts it and slowly opens his hand to reveal the salt has vanished

METHOD

This is great for restaurant workers its basicaly the same as the vanishing silk except you use salt instead.

Vanishing match

EFFECT

The magician opens a matchbox and lights a match, He then puts it in to his fist, slowly the magician opens his hand to reveal not even a trace of the match.

METHOD

This is a little more complicated than most of the other thumb tip tricks as it involves you making a special 'gimmicked' thumb tip, all you need is a drawing pin or a thumb tack and some pliers. Take your thumb tack and using the pliers cut off the sharp  needle like prong, you should now have what looks like a small button put this into the end of your thumb tip, and then when the match touches it, it will go out.
