| Hi, I'm Tom Fox the Workshop Editor for Boys' Quest and Fun For Kidz magazines. I hope you enjoyed making
and using at least some of the projects I described in my
columns. Even if you haven't made any of the projects yet, I hope
you enjoyed readiing about them and perhaps you learned something
too. I know I always enjoy designing and building the projects
for the column and I always seem to learn something new while
researching for and building the projects. |
| While most of the
parts and stuff you need for my projects are either found around the
house or can be purchased at hardware and craft stores, some of the
electronic stuff called for in the projects is sometimes a bit harder
to come by. In the past, I have tried to limit the electronic
stuff to the parts sold in Radio Shack retail stores(also www.radioshack.com) . However, Radio Shack has
reduced significantly the types of parts they sell so it is no longer
possible to design fascinating electronic projects using just Radio
Shack parts. Because of this, I am making available all electronic parts used in
the projects described in my columns through Magicland
Electronics. |
