Dorothy Anne Drasher McClain, 54, of 1035 Highland Manor, Monessen, died Sunday, Jan. 5th, 1997, at 10:06 p.m. at home. Born June 18th, 1942, in Hazelton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jean Sharpless Drasher. A resident of the Mon Valley area the past 14 years, she was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church Monessen. She was a journalist and had published articles in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Valley Independent. She was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. One son, Kenneth C. McClain of Belle Vernon, survives. There will be no public visitation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home, Belle Vernon.
