| The woods are close to Coal Aston and are mainly used by the local population there. Access to the wood is through Owler Carr Lane at Coal Aston. Travel along Eckington Road towards Marsh Lane, until you see Woodcock Farm on the right hand side of the road. The roads opposite the farm lead to the Woods. Take the bottom lane called Owler Carr land and walk along the path for about 10 minutes and you will reach the woods. Access by car is limited. It is better to walk from Coal Aston. | ||||||||||||||

| My name is Mark Walker and I have lived all my life in Coal Aston. I use the woods nearly every day to walk or to watch the wildlife. My family have lived in the area for generations. I am very interested in protecting this area and teching other people about the Moss Valley so they can also enjoy and protect it. I have a strong interest in conservation and biology. I have a BSc in biology and a MSc in conservation Biology. I have worked on a variety of projects abroad for various organisations and universities. I am currently unemployed.
