| The Moss Valley is found in North Derbyshire, and is situated along the border with South Yorkshire. It is about 5 miles away from Sheffield. The valley is today a peaceful place between Sheffield and Chesterfield and a useful 'buffer' to the city to the North. The area is well used by the local community in Coal Aston, Eckington and Dronfield and is easily accesible to these people.
