Hello. I am Mark Walker. I am twenty and study at the university of Leeds. I will begin by telling you a little about myself and my interests. I love animals. Iam studying for a biology degree and am totally fascinated by all living things. I have a soft spot for birds. I keep many animals such as sheep, chickens, goats, ducks, turkeys, quail, a parrot and a whippet. My parrot is my favourite, he is called Percy, unfortunately he is a wild parrot which my grandfather bought and who got passed on to me. I like him a lot. Iam Percy's favourite person and he misses me when I am away.
I live near to the Peak District a few miles outside of Shefield. My family keep a small farm where we keep sheep. It is a very beutiful area. My hobbies include going for walks and going cycling. I like to cycle all over the Peak District in the summer, and really love the countryside.
In the summer I went travelling. I travelled all over Europe by train. And I loved every minute of it. I enjoyed Germany a lot, and I loved Northern Italy. I visited Hungary, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria and Croatia. I thought it was brilliant and I met loads of interesting people in loads of countries. I strongly recommend travelling, I'm hoping to go somewhere this summer and would like someone to go with someone so if you are interested get in touch.
This is a photograph of myself with my bike.
I am at Leeds University , and am studying biology . Leeds is not a very nice place compared to where I live.I enjoy playing pool when I am away from home. I am not very good but just enjoy playing for a laugh. I play the guitar. I am not very good but have improved a lot recently. I mainly play British music though but would like to broaden my music horizons. I have an electric guitar. It's good to mess with when you are bored. The beatles are the best because they have the best tunes and lyrics.
I have a brother who is at Sheffield Hallam University also studying Biology. He is quite like me but he is more outspoken and pushy. He's good to talk to about football and music though. He's a lot cleverer than me, but he never tries so he didn't get as good a marks as me in A levels and GCSEs. Hopefully he is working hard now.
I have included my CV below. I am very interested in big cats and have created a web site on cheetahs. Anyway thats my web site. Get in touch with any comments. Bye!!!!!!
