The past few years I have only grown the Patio Dahlias - using them either along borders or in clumps. Last summer I purchased one packet of taller Dahlias at good old Walmarts - the last packet - and there were several tubers in there and I had no idea what colors they would be. I am pleased that other gardeners I have met on the web have agreed to swap some of my tubers for some of theirs - a great way for all of us to build up our supplies! I look forward to this summers garden and the Dahlias growing there! Too bad we don't have a longer growing season here in Zone 5.
