At Hamilton Junior High in Long Beach, California, there was plenty of that, to be sure. The 1958 Warrior was dedicated to Miss Pitchford, the principal. She had been principal since 1952, the year that Hamilton first opened.  It's yearbook in 1958 was approximately 44 pages and enrolled at Hamilton were about 400 9th graders, 385 8th graders and 371 7th graders. For a total of about 1,156 students.
