Did you ever wonder what happened to your best friends? Did you ever wonder what they did with their lives? Does it even matter anymore? Searching for old friends, classmates and even relatives can be difficult.

There are many ways to search. The library is a good place to start for ancestors. Using the Ships Passenger Lists,  you can search for relatives that arrived here starting about the middle 1800's. But you'll need some information. You'll need the relatives full name and family members that traveled or may have traveled with them to help you locate the correct person.

The internet is a good place to search for ancestors and also classmates. You can search someone's name at
Google just by entering it into the search window. You can also search phone numbers that way as well.

The Social Security Death Index is a way to find someone who may have died. If you have their name or social security number you can search the database. If you would like to search that Database, just click on this link,
SSDI.

Also, there are some other good search engines, like Roots Web and Ancestory.Com, but Ancestory makes you pay now, so I'm providing you with  a link to Roots Web.

And there's always the
Church of Latter Day Saints, the Mormon Church, which has many records going back into the 1300's.

Whatever you do, being persistant always gets better results. Good luck and happy hunting!
                  The Class of 1967

Tall, shy, handsome, Bill Baker became class president of the Class of 1967 in 1966. But that was no surprise. He came from a great family. His older sister Kathy was very popular. She was funny and fun and had an instant laugh.

Bill was a gentleman. He was a little different from the other boys. One always thought he would one day go into politics.

Pretty little Carol Dimas was Class Treasurer. Janet Sklenar was Vice-President and Gayle Kovaly was Secretary.

The Long Beach Jordan Class of 1967 was a mixture of different kinds of people. There were the kids who were stuck in the old school ways (like those that went before them}with the slicked back hair, or ratted and sprayed, levis and teeshirts, or what we called  "the hair boys".
.
There were the  kids who we called "surfers" because they liked to surf or think they would. They had a dressy/casual look with the flatter hair style, plaid and paisley shirts and wingtip shoes.

And then there were the average guys who were just trying to fit in with whatever was in.

That was probably most of us.
