In this program younger sudents learn to moe to their colors. They create tableaux images with their bodies based on how the colors make them feel. This is a great lesson for students just learning their colors!
In this program students will learn to bring their historical characters and time periods alive. Using the basics of acting and theater they will act out periods of history or historical figures they are learning about in class. Follow up materials will be provided for teachers to use after the program is completed. .
In this program younger students learn how to use their bodies and movements to act out the full life cycle of a frog. This coincides with those learning about frogs in their Science curriculum.
Are you studying a culture in your class that you would like to bring to life? From Egypt to China we can travel and act out different parts of the culture. This program enhances students learning of a specific culture you are already planning to study. By acting out parts of this culture students value their learning experience a little more. Follow up material will be provided upon program completion.
This program introduces young students to moving and controlling their body and voices.. They will practice stretching, moving to music, acting out characters and moving through new environments. They will also begin very basic story play. This is a great program to do in one or two sessions but could be done once a week as well.
In this workshop student's will learn about acting through making scenes. We will select a book report, culture or historical era and use it to create scenes. Students will learn about beginning, middle and end and will write their scenes and act them out for the rest of the class. This program can be integrated to almost any lesson you are already teaching.
Are you bored with regular storytime in your classroom? Is it time to liven things up. In this program we will take a story you are already working on in class and bring it to life. Students will learn the basics of acting and will use these techniques in acting out the story. By the end of this program students will have roles in the story and will perform it for parents, teachers or other students.
