Vampyr

Physical Description:  Vampyrs have the general appearance of humans with a somewhat slighter build.  They are very pale, their skin often appearing to be pure white.  Their hair is a deep black and their eyes are  very dark.  Vampyrs are very strong and agile and much prefer to operate at night versus the day.  Vampyrs, unlike true Vampires, do not actually fest on the blood of the living, but instead feast on a vegetarian diet. 

Vampyr Society:  Vampyr society has embraced Machine Production, while retaining a strong commitment to the Old Ways.  Vampyr Cathedrals are amongst the most decadent in Ede Rame, but many Unitarians are convinced that Vampyrs actually worship Fell Gods and Dark Things, rather than Naggarium.  Despite these rumors, Vampyr society has erected many Cathedrals to Naggarium's glory and vampyr troops have been amongst the most enthusiastic volunteers for Holy Wars fought in the name of Naggarium.  Vampyrs, like elves, are a race with an affinity for magic, and many tend towards The Mystic Art of Necromancy.  Many citizens across Ede Rame will travel to Clyne to seek medical treatment from the Grand Academy of Necronon.
