Orcs

Physical Description:  Orcs stand between five and a half and six and a half feet tall and are heavily muscled.  Orcs have a deep forest green skin and protruding lower jaw which houses two upward projecting tusks.  Orcs are hairless, save for their thick eyebrows, which are generally white.  Orcs are extremely hardy and are noted, perhaps unfairly, as being extremely warlike by their neighbors. 

Orcish Society:  Orcish society is predicated on a strong martial tradition, which in time long past made orcs the menace of Ede Rame's peace.  Orcish barbarian hordes are blamed for the collapse of the Old Empire, a stigma that continues to plague them even into the modern age.  Now, orcish society is noted for its efficiency and dedication to engineering and science.  Orcish Academies are amongst the finest in Ede Rame and citizens from across the continent often attend orcish academies so that orcish science might further develop their own nations.  Waagehaus is facing considerable problems, despite this greater efficiency and internal development.  The Orcish population is rising too fast and many fear that the Kaiser might be forced to expand his holdings to provide for his people.
