Halflings

Physical Description:  Halflings stand a mere three-and-a-half to four feet tall.  Halflings are prone to weigh gain in their older age, however during their youth they are lean and extremely agile.  Halflings tend to have curly hair which varies wildly in color as well as a dark, ruddy complexion. 

Halfling Society:  Halflings are a very religious people and regularly attend mosque.  Despite this, Halflings are a fun-loving people who are noted for their ability to down mead.  Halflings remain a rugged people who are at home atop their traditional camel mounts, ranging far into the southern deserts in search of new trade routes and new contacts to be made.  Halflings have also begun to embrace the Industrial Revolution rather than fall behind their Ede Rame counterparts.  Further, halfling society is extremely tolerant of outsiders and likely to embrace those with great differences.  This, however, does not mean that halflings are not unwilling to spread their faith to all corners of the world and nearly every halfling trading vessel contains a a group of missionaries bound for some distant port.
