Haarken

Physical Description:  Haarken are very large, ranging from seven to seven and a half feet tall.  Haarken are covered with a thick white fur and are noted for their ability to survive in incredibly cold weather.  The Haarken are often referred to as "Yeti" in common language, but the Haarken view this as a racial epithet.  The Haarken have great strength and constitution and are fearsome warriors that fear nothing.

Haarken Society:  Haarken society is generally organized into small townships, ruled by Great Warriors, elected officials, or respected elders.  The Haarken have a complex society which is predicated on a deep-seated concept of honor and respect that is not generally understood by outsiders.  Haarken warriors wield steel weapons, generally axes or swords and wear steel-reinforced armor, although rarely complete plate mail due to their cold environment.
