Djer

Physical Description:  Three foot tall mushroom men with oversized wide caps. Often Djer will wear metal helmets over their caps and wear heavy metal armor. Most Djer wield maces or war hammers in melee. The Djer are rather intelligent and know metal working, can work magicks, and have the potential for wider social organization beyond the clan level.

Djer Society:  Djer society is organized in a highly legalistic manner, valuing justice more than anything.  The Djer legal code is rather liberal however and the role of Judge is society's most prestigious position.  Even tribal leaders or other political leaders defer to a Judge's wisdom.  While the Djer are generally organized into semi-nomadic tribes or simple agrarian townships, fate has kept the Djer from producing their own nation.
