Dark Elves

Physical Description:  Dark Elves are close relatives of their cousins, elves.  Dark Elves differ from normal elves in that their skin is a deep purple in color and their hair tends towards wild colors, including stark white, bright blue, bright purple, and bright orange.  Dark Elves also have unusual eye colors, including lavender, emerald green, and crystal blue.

Dark Elven Society:  Dark Elven society is similar to their elven counterparts, save for the notable fact that they are nocturnal.  Further, Dark Elves tend to make use of magicks at a greater rate than their already magical-prone cousins.  Dark Elven society has also, historically, been had a greater degree of equality between the sexes than anywhere else in Ede Rame, however in the last hundred years a series of laws have increasingly barred women from holding certain vocations and political offices throughout society.
