Aarakonu

Physical Description:  The Aarkonu are a race of bipedal bird men who stand around six feet tall.  They are covered with drab brown feathers but cannot fly.  However, the Aarakonu are extremely swift and are noted hunters.  Nonetheless, the Aarkakonu are mostly an agrarian people, working in their rice fields and staying in their close-knit communities.

Aarakonu Society:  The Aarakonu's existence is centered around their townships, which are generally headed by a respected elder or shaman.  The Aarakonu can be savage fighters, but are generally more interested in farming and poetry.
