| My Weight Watchers Journey |
| For most of my life, weight has been a personal struggle. I was a fat girl growing up and those fat days followed me for a long time. After my first year of college, I had found that I had packed on about 40 pounds(topping out at around 235ish) and I knew I needed a change. So sophomore year I thought I could do this change on my own through exercise. I believed I ate ok and that exercise would do the trick. I did end up losing those 40 pounds, but was still techniquely overweight and that exercise wasn't helping me lose any more weight. Here we are now in my senior year and I decided to join WW with my friend Laura. This decision alone has helped me overcome a whole lot and I'm here to share my journey. It hasn't been easy at times, but support from my ww group, ww group leader, friends and family along with my own desire to lose weight has helped me to continue to reach my goals. | I'm happy to report I made lifetime membership in June, but have been struggling ever since to keep the weight off. I'm still close to goal, but it is hard when old habits kick in. Still working hard! Best of luck to you! |
