Those of us currently adding to it are busy finishing the rest of the site, so this page is likely to be a bit empty. That said, may the show commence! Mark Evans Who is Mark Evans? Well, those of you who were observant when reading OotP will have noticed that on Page 17 (UK edition) Harry says: "So who've you been beating up tonight? Another ten-year-old? I know you did Mark Evans two nights ago." Those of you who do not know, Petunia Dursely and Lily Potter's maiden name was 'Evans'. So who is this Mark, then? Is he a relative of Harry's that we don't know about yet? Another thing you may have noticed, is that Mark is ten years old when Harry mentioned it. Which means that in book 6 he'll be 11. Which is the age you have to be to go to Hogwarts. So if he is a relative of Harry's, he may have the same magical genes Lily Potter got from somewhere. Perhaps Lily wasn't a muggle-born as we thought. So is there any significance to Mark Evans? Or has JK Rowling just slipped him in there to throw us off track?
