Site advice
What to do, what NOT to do, and how to have visitors flock to your site!
First off, here's what to do; if you're trying to create a site for people to get free stuff and enjoy themselves, here are some suggested things you should include: layouts, graphics, tips, advice, dollz, icons, or whatever! Include some blog space to write about your life or just simply have an "about me" page. Definitly make a gbook. Just make sure your site is well organized : )
Here's what not to do: definite no-nos are; writing like ThIs AlL tHe TImE. It annoys the heck outa people. Don't use moving backrounds like falling stars or moving clouds. It's too distracting! Also, try to stay away from tons of words following your curser, or other mouse trails, etc. Don't swear frequently-it can be a turn-off, I think. Try not to complain or have tons of shoutoutz-it makes people feel left out if they're name isn't on it.
Last, how to get visitors: Add your site to search engines, tell friends about it, and post an "ad" on someone's site if they offer it.
The basic idea is that you want people to have fun and come to your site, right? It should be. Once the word gets out that your site is great, people will come to it! Consider making an animated button or have someone make one for you. Or, make your own banner. Just enjoy yourself! HAVE FUN! : )
