PeriodsSooner or later, you're gonna get you're period. If you haven't yet, enjoy life! It sux to have your period. But, it's a part of life that's for the better. You get it about every 25-28 days--it varies for all girls. I get it about every 26 days. Your period can last anywhere from 3-7 days. It may be heavy or light. For lightish days, wear a tampon or pad. For heavy days, wear a pad for sure. During the night, to prevent leaking, wear a pad. I have had accidents when using a panty-liner, so wear a big one! It's also a good idea to put a towel under you in your bed..just in case.
Don't let your periods take over your life. PMS may stink, but, remember, it happens to all women! Try really hard not to let out your frustration or anger on others. Write in a journel, take a bath, or read a book to cool off steam. You may feel like punching someone, but once you realize you can relax.. you'll be fine.
