How to make a website

In order to make a website, you first need to find a online host.There are paid ones and free one.
Here are some free ones you can use to start off:

Geocities(Recomend for beginer)

Host Ultra(Recomend for nonbeginer)

Domain:There are usually free domains comes with your free host or a paid one (www.example.com). A dot com,net,org...ect anre usually paid ones.Free domain are long and hard to remember.You can go to www.dot.tk to find a way to shorten your domain for free!

Getting Started: Once you have signed up for a host, you can start building your own website. There are two way to build a websites:

-Beginer(Online Site Builder)

Free host like geocities often offer free site builder for beginer. Site builder is a online software that provides a template for your website. It show you how to make a website through step by step instructions. It is quite easy to use a site builder.Yahoo.com have one that you can even download and use!

-Nonbeginer(Hypertext Markup Language)

Nonbeginer often uses Hypertext Markup Language or HTML to make their own web site. What is HTML? It consists of sets of codes (called tags) that are used to control the way the document is displayed by a web browser, such as Netscape Navigator/Communicator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. A document that is formatted using HTML tags is called an HTML document, such as this page you are viewing now. HTML are quite hard to remember since there are so many of them. Don't worry, there are many online tutoral sites that provides some of the basic codes.

Basic structure of a website:A home page(index.html)and at least 2-3 links
