Philosophical Statement on using Technology in Teaching and Learning:
In today's world, technology is everywhere that we look. It is an
important part of our everyday lives. Teachers have a
responsibility to keep up with current research, teaching strategies,
and use of technology concerning teaching and learning in the field of
education. Technology should not be taught as an isolated field
of study. It should be integrated into each part of our
curriculum whether it be science, math, reading, or social studies,
technology should be leading the way in these content areas.
Technology can unlock doors to deeper understanding and new ways of
thinking in many of our content areas if we will let it.
