| "You will not take one step in my garden until you learn the basics of gardening.I'm your teacher Dedicate Rosethorn.I will start you off with a simple basket herb garden.I dont think you can mess that up to much. Below is the list of items you'll need" |
| 1. Medium sized basket 2.Good rich potting soil 3.Herb seeds of your choice(parsley grows very fast and can grow almost anywhere!) 4.water |
| What to do "Fill your basket with your soil about two or three inches from the top.Use your finger to poke holes in the dirt an inch apart from eachother,and do this neatly! Drop two seeds in each hole you made then cover with dirt and pat down but not to hard. Now you guess the next part it's not hard.Water it just until it feels moist to the touch!Put in a sunny spot. In a week or so you'll get little sprouts then they mature to full herbs.And dont be scared to talk to them, they like that,I mean it!" |
| Caring for them "If you have an herb like parsley,Keep the tops trimmed and water them every other day.You can replant them in the ground if you like but its not nessary. If you dont take care of them they'll let you know by wilting and turning brown,and if you let that happen YOU WILL answer to me.Unlike Lark I wont put up with not listening in class!I would wish you good luck but that would'nt be my nature!When you acomplish that we will move on to bigger things. |
